Dear Councillor,
Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary Meeting of Allington Parish Council to be held at Allington Village Hall Annexe on Wednesday February 25th 2026 at 6pm. All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.
Public Forum: The Parish Council meeting will be preceded by a public forum commencing at 6pm for which councillors are asked to be present, but if no members of the public attend or wish to speak, the meeting will start at 6pm. Members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the meeting but may not participate unless invited to do so by the Chairman.

1. Welcome and Apologies for absence.
To receive and approve apologies for absence and reasons given.
2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011
To receive declarations of Members interests in relation to agenda items.
To consider request for dispensations from Members.
3. TO DISCUSS THE ALLINGTON PLAYING FIELDS PLAYPARK PROJECT
To discuss the liquidation of the current contractor, Commercial Play Ltd, half way through the project. To discuss and consider alternative options and quotes to complete the project within the UKSPF grant deadline. To discuss making the current site secure, insurance cover, current contract clauses, notifying the liquidator.
4. Close of Meeting
To confirm the date of the next scheduled meeting and close the meeting.
