 Parish Council Meeting to be held at Allington Village Hall at 7.30pm
Wednesday 14th January 2026.
 
Dear Councillor,
 
I hereby give you notice that the next meeting of Allington Parish Council will be held at Allington Village Hall, on Wednesday 14th January at 7:30PM. All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.
 
 
Public Forum:  The Parish Council meeting will be preceded by a public forum commencing at 7.15pm for which Councillors are asked to be present, but if no members of the public attend or wish to speak, the meeting will start at 7.15pm. The public may address the Council on current matters or issues that may become future agenda items.

  Members of the public are welcome to stay for the meeting but may not participate unless invited to do so by the Chairman.

3. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011
To receive declarations of Members interests in relation to agenda items.
To consider request for dispensations from Members.
 
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
To resolve to accept the notes from the Parish Council Meeting held on Nov 26th 2025 to be approved as minutes by Chairperson. Previously circulated to all by email.

6. DISTRICT AND COUNTY COUNCILLORS REPORT
 
7. TO RECEIVE RFO FINANCE REPORT
To resolve to accept the payments and receipts schedule of accounts for January 2026 for payments due since the last meeting in November, to be checked and signed by 2 Councillors at this meeting and to review the budget figures for the year to date, copies of which can be obtained by emailing the clerk at parish.clerk@allingtonpc.org.uk

To receive and resolve to accept the checked bank reconciliation from Cllr Carlyle for the period 01 Oct 2025 to 30 Dec 2025(Q3).
 
Bank balance as of 30 Dec 2025:
Current Account : £10958.14
Savings Account : £40894.51 ( following transfer as agreed of 20K from Current to Savings account to maximise interest earned).
 
To approve Gilders winter work schedule for 2026.
 
To include finalising the budget and precept for 2026/27.
 
8. TO RECEIVE PLANNING REPORT (previously circulated to councillors)
S25/2309 – Lofty Trees, The Green Allington. Request to fell and remove sycamore trees.
 
9. TO RECEIVE CLERKS REPORT

To discuss issues raised during commencement of re-surfacing works and to consider latest options proposed by contractor.
 
11. HARWORTHS UPDATE
Cllr Baron to update latest information regarding proposed Harworth development.
 
12. BUS SHELTER MAINTENANCE
To consider bus shelter painting quotes.
 
13. MUGA
To discuss ongoing maintenance options.
 
14. EMERGENCY PLAN 
Update on Emergency Plan since the last meeting.
 
15. TO CONSIDER FORMING A PLAYING FIELD/FUNDRAISERS COMMITTEE
To further discuss proposed committee.
 
16. CAR PARKING AT VILLAGE SCHOOL
To discuss recent complaints regarding dangerous car parking.
