Dear Councillor,
Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary Meeting of Allington Parish Council to be held at Allington Village Hall Annexe on Thursday 29th January 2026 at 6pm. All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.
Public Forum: The Parish Council meeting will be preceded by a public forum commencing at 6pm for which councillors are asked to be present, but if no members of the public attend or wish to speak, the meeting will start at 6pm. Members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. Members of the public are welcome to stay for the meeting but may not participate unless invited to do so by the Chairman.

1. Welcome and Apologies for absence.
To receive and approve apologies for absence and reasons given.
2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011
To receive declarations of Members interests in relation to agenda items.
To consider request for dispensations from Members.
3. TO DISCUSS THE ALLINGTON PLAYING FIELDS PLAYPARK PROJECT
To discuss and consider the quote from Commercial Play for additional work required at the play park over and above the original quote. Commercial Play have advised that additional costs will be incurred for extra work required which was discovered after the removal of the old surface. To discuss funds available and to vote on approving the quote for additional work.
4. Close of Meeting
To confirm the date of the next scheduled meeting and close the meeting.
