  1. WELCOME REMARKS BY THE CHAIRMAN

      1.1 Cllr Plummer welcomed everyone to the meeting.

 

  1. APOLOGIES: TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND REASON

      2.1 Apologies from Cllr Jackson – Health issues.

 

  1. DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011    

3.1 No declarations of Members interest in relation to agenda items.
3.2 No requests for dispensation from Members.

 

  1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES                                                                                                 
    4.1 The minutes of the meeting 11 November 2020 were agreed and signed by the Chairman.

 

  1. PLANNING

5.1 S20/1941 – Application & Permission

 Mr John Callaghan, Lofty Trees, The Green,

 T1- Acer Pseudoplatanus - Crown reduction of 50% (about 3m)

5.2 S20/2138 – Application

 Angela Whincup, Rookery Cottage, The Green,

 Erection of single storey Orangery to the rear. Proposed replacement of existing   southern boundary fence with a reclaimed brickwork wall. Proposed replacement of all existing uPVC windows to hardwood timber windows.

5.3 S20/1597 – Permission Granted

       Mr Graham Anderson, Eastleigh, The Green

 Replace 3 existing Georgian paned double glazed window units on the southern      elevation of the main building.

5.4 S20/1864 – permission granted

       Mrs Steptoe, Bramley, The Green

       Crown reduce two conifers and shape  

5.5 S20/1758 Listed Building - consent given13th October 2020

       Proposed timber-framed car port and new roof to existing log store

5.6 S20/1757 – Permission Granted

  1. CORRESPONDENCE

Foston Scouts re cancellation of Hiking Activity (to be rescheduled).

Bottesford Neighbourhood Plan.

Letter from a villager re Sewstern Lane.

Gallifordfry update on the A1 new bridge just before Great Ponton.

 

 

  1. FINANCE
    1. Income was noted since 11 November 2020 to date as outlined in the respective              financial reports.

    2. It was resolved to approve the since 11 November 2020 to date expenditure as                             outlined in the respective finance reports.

    3. The Quarterly Accounts were approved and signed by the Chairman

    4. The Audit approval from PKFG for financial year 2019/20 has now been signed off.

    5. It was unanimously agreed that the precept should remain the same as last year due                   to the uncertain times during Covid-19.

 

  1. FUNDRAISING & GRANTS

8.1 The total raised via Easyfundraising towards the Village Amenity Fund now totals£108.31 from 36 registered supporters.Cllr Mould is going to promote again via local recourses.Cllr Mould to check when the money should appear in the Parish Council bank account.

 

  1. SOLAR FARM

9.1 Planning application is with SKDC for a Solar Farm next to the A1 by Foston.The farmwill be in Foston Parish.However, the Solar Farm developers have agreed a financial figure to be divided between 4 parish councils abutting the site.Allington’s concern is the view and glare from the farm for residents of Allington.

 

  1. SEWSTERN LANE

10.1 District Councillor has spoken with a resident re the condition of Sewstern Lane caused by off road vehicles.He has agreed to meet with the resident and Cllr Plummer to visit the lane and see the condition of it.

 

  1. VILLAGE HALL

11.1 The Village Hall has had to have repairs done to the roof, due to being closed and having limited funding from other sources the committee have asked if the council would consider assisting with the payment of the invoice of over £800.It was agreed to donate 50% towards the invoice proposed by Cllr Marsh, seconded by Cllr Mould, unanimously agreed.

 

  1. PLAYING FIELD

12.1 Reports of non compliance of covid regulations in the MUGA if anyone sees this happening, they should report it to 101 under antisocial behaviour.

12.2 The new signage for the playing field has been ordered.

12.3 Cllr Plummer reported that The damaged bin has now been repaired and will be repainted when the weather permits.

12.4 A company has quoted for rejuvenation.Moss killer is to be applied when the weather permits by the village caretaker.

12.5 The RoSpa report repairs have been ongoing along with protection to the posts from strimmers.
